My experience in many areas of commercial photography, including editorial, corporate and industrial, led me to my greatest interest, and my specialty for over 15 years, architectural photography. I love my work and approach each new project with enthusiasm.
I enjoy the process of collaborating with a client to determine how best to document the intentions of the designer so that the results will not only satisfy me but will also please the people who hire me. I feel strongly that the sharing of ideas produces the most successful outcome.
My clients’ onsite participation in the stages of refining a photograph is facilitated by viewing images on a laptop tethered to a digital camera. Digital photography allows the completion of a large number of photos in a day without sacrificing the image control once achieved only with large format cameras. The use of tilt/shift lenses give digital cameras the perspective adjustments characteristic of view cameras, but without their ponderous operations.
I hire, as needed, experienced freelancers for on- location and post-production assistance. Therefore I can produce the highest quality photography without the overhead costs necessitated by a studio and staff. My commitment to adding improved gear and software to my equipment ensures that the images I produce will benefit from up-to-date technology.
